This Cookie Policy explains how RoleBolt uses cookies and similar technologies on https://rolebolt.com. It forms part of our Privacy Policy at https://rolebolt.com/privacy.
RoleBolt sets very few traditional cookies of its own. Most of what we store in your browser uses local storage rather than cookies. Local storage is treated as a cookie-equivalent technology under the ePrivacy Directive, so it is disclosed here in full.
Analytics storage is set only if you accept it in our consent banner. Essential storage is required for the Services to work and is not subject to consent.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the button below, or by clearing site data in your browser settings. Signing out clears user-scoped cached application data while preserving non-sensitive preferences such as theme.
Required for authentication, session security, and basic operation. These cannot be switched off.
Supabase authentication session. Required to sign in and stay signed in. Cleared on sign-out.
Idle-session handling, so inactive sessions end safely.
localStorage. Remembers that you confirmed your age during sign-up until sign-in completes, so the confirmation carries through an email or Google redirect. Expires automatically (10 minutes for Google sign-in, 24 hours for email sign-up) and is removed once applied to your account.
sessionStorage. Marks an in-progress password-reset link as a recovery flow so the app opens the reset-password page instead of signing you in directly. Removed as soon as it is read, and cleared automatically when the browser tab closes.
Remembers your interface choices between visits.
Used to keep the app usable and to preserve work in progress. Set by RoleBolt only and not shared with third parties.
Caches your most recent resume, profile, and job data so the app still works if a network request fails. User-scoped and cleared on sign-out.
Onboarding progress and dashboard state.
Preserves draft job-search filters you have not saved yet.
Used to understand how the Services are used and to detect errors. Set only after you accept analytics in the consent banner.
Product analytics and error tracking. Set only after you accept analytics in the consent banner, and not set at all if you decline.
RoleBolt does not display advertising and does not use advertising, retargeting, or cross-context behavioural advertising technologies. We set no advertising cookies and no third-party ad pixels.
Our consent banner is provided by Termly, which records your consent choice and blocks non-essential technologies until you accept them. Termly processes limited technical data to operate the banner and to keep a record of consent.
We recognise and honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out without any further action from you.
We will update this page when we add or remove technologies that store information in your browser. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Questions can be sent to contact@rolebolt.com.
